| Vehicle | 1997 Harley Davidson FXDL Lowrider Salvage bike from Hurricane Katrina's visit to New Orleans. Bike was underwater for over three weeks. Bought it from a salvage yard in Beaumont, TX about 15 months after Hurricane Katrina hit. Motor was never drained or cleaned. All of the ICE parts will be sold on eBay then the electric drive train will go in. Planning on a dual / Siamesed permanent magnet motor setup, similar to the Etek’s, Lynch’s or Perm PMG-132’s. Do not want to use flooded lead acid batteries, would prefer Lithium or NiMH batteries instead. Plan to get started in October 2007. | ||||||||
