This is a commuter style bike
converted to electric assist.
Motor Yamaha Series Wound DC
XS 650 Yamaha motorcycle starter.
DrivetrainUsing a 12 volt Yamaha XS650 motorcycle
starter motor.
It drives through a BMX type
freewheel sprocket.
It is using a solenoid switch
and rocker button.

Just uses one 12 volt
gel battery around 30 ah
or more.
