Easily does 30 miles with pedaling, haven't tried much without but it will do most hills no problem.

Additional FeaturesOne concern was water-proofing, the battery and controller are enclosed in plastic ammunition boxes. All wiring and fixtures are sealed. There is a main disconnect switch on the front of the box - Harbor Freight 92688-4VGA 50 amp capacity @ 24 volts (500 amp surge)
The bike was a trade, but the cost includes upgrading most of the bikes components, as bike was pretty well used. The battery was by far the biggest investment, but at only five pounds and rated for several hundred charges, I am happy with it.
