History I acquired it second hand in July 1993, with the full specs below. The batteries were shot and the owner had screwed two horns to the front after have a bad experience. I had used it a few times then and only this year got round to doing something with it again. After installing new batteries, a new front tyre, and checking the wheel bearings it was off. Controls You sit with your legs over the handle bars. You have two brakes levers like on a bicycle, one for a bicycle type brake on the front, the other for a drum brake in the right rear wheel. A small latch can lock this as a parking brake Two buttons where your thumbs are for drive and horn. Indicators and lights are two rocker switches under the seat behind the bars. Driving experience On the road in itself it would be fine, but with other traffic forcing you far over to the gutter it would take a more foolish man that I to use it on a road. Having an extensive 'redway' cycle system it is ideal, though cornering at over 10 mph is not advised and the turning circle is not that good. Standard Features Front and rear lights One battery original 12v 36Ah One charger Boot (trunk) Optional extras One extra battery Tool kit Wet weather cover (your head sticks out the top) Horn One rear reflector (the bit people call the flag) Optional road going kit (Not that you want too) Direction indicators Rear view mirrors (They fall off) Added features Horn (Now inside out of sight) Motor blower (12 Volt PC Fan and some tube) Missing features A proper hand/parking brake Some way of chaining it up SORRY, IT IS NOT FOR SALE.
