the BMS that was purchased from Elite Power Solutions was DOA both the power supply and the BMS cpu/ display were not in working order.. i have a BMS from Auzzie land, it is the best..
System Voltage243 Volts
ChargerZivan the big one 240V at 14 amps NG-5 I think..
HeaterFrom KTA services for defrost only, I like the cold weather here in California near Fresno..
DC/DC Converter IOTA
Electroauto supplied a filter for the input to thr iota and it smoked first turn on ... blew a filter capacitor...It was to smooth out spikes from the regen 3 phase output from the motor..
InstrumentationLink 10 also a TS BMS display screen..
Top Speed50 MPH (80 KPH)
I live in the country so speed is not an issue for me..
Range45 Miles (72 Kilometers)
I have ran it to 45 miles car odometer and used 52KWA... this is a 1 time test... I want to do it when the tempature is around 80F
Watt Hours/Mile253 Wh/Mile
this is a limited figure, maybe around 100 miles involved in the calcs..
Seating Capacitysingle seat could hold 2 adults and 1 child..
Curb Weight2,650 Pounds (1,204 Kilograms)
Conversion CostOver cost project, actually the cost was not my concern,,, the long term thought of low cost transportation is what drove me to this project... 10 years from now when gas is $16/ gal I won't be able to purchas it but I'll be able to aford the EV..
Additional FeaturesThis is my first EV and if I were to do it all over again, I would not start with LION batteries, the BMS and wiring of the control modules is a night mare... I know I will get it on the road but it is trully testy for an old man like me... 73 years old..I have the Link 10 e-meter to use as a watt meter (fuel gage)
It took 4 days to wire the rear batteries, and more to wire the front 15 cells, and to my amazement the BMS worked once Elite Power Solutions sent me a good CPU.
The first CPU,Display unit and Charger were DOA... The 2nd charger is also DOA..There has to be a better way....
