Vehicle1996 Honda Integra
I will be converting this car to all electric drive. The car was bought from a friend at a good price. Motor is at the end of its life having done 290,000 km and blowing a bit of smoke. The body, however, is still in good condition.
MotorNetgain Warp 9 Series Wound DC
Hopefully I can fit a Warp 9 under the bonnet. If not I'll fall back on a ADC FB1-4001.
DrivetrainElectric motor will be coupled to 5sp gearbox probably retaining the clutch.
ControllerCafe Electric Z1K-LV
I've got this on pre-order. Shouldn't be too far off now.
Batteries45 CALB/Skyenergy SE180AHA, 3.20 Volt, Lithium-Ion
System Voltage144 Volts
ChargerManzanita Micro PFC-30M
30A model with AC current meter to allow charging on Aussie 10A, 15A, 20A or the 32A industrial outlet I'll be installing in my garage.
Heater4kw fluid heater. This will heat and pump coolant (as in radiator fluid) at 70C through the existing heater core. It will use 4kw via the HV line originally but then drop off in power to maintain 70C.
DC/DC Converter
Undecided. Possibly an IOTA 55A.
