one of the first cars off the boat, this
silver ES has the cold weather package,
remote control, and interior LEDs.

single gear reduction ratio of 7.065:1

No, not the cobalt cells that Boeing put in
their 787!
System Voltage330 Volts

InstrumentationMultifunction gauge with pushbutton
selection to scroll through 2 trip
odometers, time to next maintenance,
estimated range remaining, and total odo.
Large 'efficiency' ampmeter, no numbers.
Top Speed81 MPH (130 KPH)
A pretty soft launch that quickly ramps up
to linear acceleration.
AccelerationDelivers 0.33 g's of acceleration
according to my iPhone, enough to zip out
ahead of traffic at every stop light if
desired, and confident highway passing.
0-60 mph in 13.1 sec
Range62 Miles (99 Kilometers)
Down to 45 miles on the highway at 65 mph
with 4 passengers, headlights and heat,
but better in most any other conditions.
Have seen sustained range estimates of 82
miles on the gauge while running errands.
Watt Hours/Mile300 Wh/Mile
That's the EPA rating, but I'm coming real
close to that in daily driving without
hypermiling
EV Miles
Current:21,400 Miles (34,432 Kilometers)

    As of 4/22/2014
Seating Capacity4 adults, ridiculously spacious headroom,
have to lean to the side to access the arm
rests.
Curb Weight2,579 Pounds (1,172 Kilograms)
Tires145/65 SR 15 up front, 175/60R15 in rear.
Additional FeaturesLED interior lighting, remote control of heating, air
conditioning, charge timer, cold weather package for battery
thermal management, heated seats and mirrors.
Our only regret is not holding out for a CHAdeMO-equipped
iMiEV, so I traded this one on a premium edition! None of the
'professional' reviewers have done this car justice. It's a
plenty peppy and ultra-maneuverable commuter, and due to the
fold-flat rear seats and absolutely square 50 cubic foot
storage area, it's the preferred hauler for all but our largest
loads.
