Controller	Turnigy Trackstar 200 Designed for 1/5-scale R/C models, it was determined that 1/3.14 scale was close enough. The controller's starting routine is designed for inertial (ground) loads and with the very high gear ratio, greatly reduces the starting "cogging" or stuttering behavior commonly seen in R/C part based powertrains
Batteries	24, 1.20 Volt, Nickel-Metal Hydride Battery modules were salvage from a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid battery, which contains 28 modules with two 4.8V, 8Ah D-cell NiMh assemblies each. Six modules were used resulting in a 28.8v 16Ah battery.
