I finished converting my 2016 Bayliner 175
Bowrider to All Electric.
I bought the boat brand new, pulled a zero
hours, brand new 3.0 Mercruiser and put it on
a pallet. Here is a link to video.
The first is the boat cruising effortlessly
at 25mph.
MotorHPEVS AC34X2 3-Phase AC
This motor has been designed with the marine
industry in mind, but it can be adapted to any
other mode of transportation. The motor
includes a stainless steel frame with the
shaft of the rotor being made of stainless
steel too. With anodized aluminum end bells
and junction boxes, the motor can stand up to
a salt environment.

The motor is the same 8" diameter as the
standard steel frame AC-3Xx2 motors but now
with the use of a junction box, the total
height is a little over 11".

The motor is totally sealed which allows for
the oil to cool all the internal surfaces of
the motor.

These used 18650 Tesla-Smart Car modules are
comprised of 2600mAh cells arranged in a
22p15s configuration. They are rated at 100
amps, 150 amps peak. They have an integrated
liquid cooling/heating system, but they can
also be air cooled in light duty cycle
applications. They also have an integrated 100
amp fuse, and an ATX20 connector with cell
level connectivity for BMS systems and two
integrated thermistors. The packs contain 330
cells, and each cell is independently safety
fused on both terminals. They have been
lightly used, most with less than 5000 miles
on them, and are designed for 100,000 miles to
85% capacity. A preferred configuration for a
typical AC50 application is 4p2s for a total
of 24kWh of energy with a total of 8 modules.
These work particularly well in 48 volt marine
and cart applications as well.
