Splash guards and more instrumentation would be nice as well. Toughest part of the conversion: 1. Had to ship tranny off to get adapter made (3 months and $$) 2. Mounting 14x70 pound. batteries to a unibody car 3. Mounting right front axle "cage bearing" to electric motor- used to mount to ICE, and took some work to mount to the electric motor. What I would do differently: take longer to find a donor in better shape. Driving to work with it every day now!
