Great Porsche handling with balanced weight ratio (10 batteries in front and 10 batteries in rear). This is a custom one of a kind conversion - not the Electro Automotive kit. The car has won numerous EV races and there is a photo of it taking a slalom turn at the 1999 Tour de Sol at the following link: WebPage Although this is a 5 speed, I usually start in 3rd gear and shift to 4th at 45 MPH. I use 5th gear as an "over drive". Car cruises easily at 65 to 70 mph. It is very fun to drive - has some squeaks, but hey this is a 34 year old car.
