The car is a 'semi-conversion'. The base car is factory-built
electric with NiCd batteries. The car was bought without batteries
and was equipped with a lithium pack, first lithium cobalt oxide
and then lithium iron phosphate.

with FEVT BMS. The earlier pack of lithium cobalt oxide cells
was changed to lithium iron phosphate technology at 2011 at
60 000 kms. This was because the old pack was developing
elevated internal impedance on some cells and had lost some
capacity. Suspected reason was midmost cells overheating on
long summer drives. The cooler cells were still OK.
