MR02EV has be a register, road going EV for 4 years and used regularly as a city commuter car. The first traction battery pack was constructed from 56 Thundersky Lithium-ion cells giving 200 Volts, however, the MES-DEA motor-inverter can support 400 Volts. Hence the upgrade to Leaf modules.

Replacing the main battery pack of an EV is a significant job, and has spawned a several other projects. More on my website.
