The car tracks efficiency and ranks
users - my ranking was great off the
bat, slipped, and has come back up to
9,000th or so of all LEAF owners. it
posts results in several ways,
including the 3.2miles per KWH that I'm
up to at the moment. I calculated the
312.5 WHR/Mile above by dividing 1000W
by 3.2 miles/KWH.

Very well done vehicle.

I have driven for more than half a month - over 350 miles,
and have paid about $12.50 off of the grid. I am setting up
(very carefully) my stored solar setup to charge the car,
and when I get that done, I'll be charging from Sunshine at
my favorite price. Free! :-)

Update 5/25/2015- have been loving the LEAF! 16000 awesome miles. The only issue I have had is that the nut that holds the wipers to the eccentric arm of the wiper motor came off. I removed the cowl, retrieved the washer and nut and proudly trotted back to the dealer, where they told me "unfortunately, since we didn't have to buy any parts to fix it, we are gonna have to charge you 15 bucks." Suffice it to say, I paid zero dollars and offered that I will be doing my own repairs from now on. I also mentioned that I would sooner rip out my spleen and bite it than pay them a penny for a stupid, warranty repair on a leased car. :-)

Also, tires are wasted at 16 thou from attempting to convert non-believers at stoplights.
